As you may guess, I’m constantly doing research, reading and generally trying to stay informed as to the latest happenings and best practices in emerging digital communications. I spend at least a few hours a day on email lists, service sites, media sites, blogs and discussing with peers what’s “going on” in this space.

I’ve recently started to think about the landscape of services, products and communication formats that we have to keep aware of. I decided to start a list, a snapshot of the current breadth/depth of subjects we need to keep aware of.

I started this little list a few weeks ago… let me know what I missed, but I’m sure it’ll be outdate in a month or so. 8-)
Put your additions in the comments and I’ll update…

    Hi Charlie,
Good idea; it’s nice to get the issues ‘at a glance.’ One concept on my mind is creative Word of Mouth marketing, especially the future of technology-assisted WOM like bzz agent.

    Thanks Matt,

I’ll add that to my update this week. I could probably call it a WOM network… and I could also add “forward to a friend-type” tools too. How’s this?

    Social and Community
    – Word of Mouth
    – WOM Networks
    – Forwarding tools

That cover it? Much thanks for the comment!
